The first meeting of the San Francisco Travel Tribe took place at Irish Times in the city’s financial district. It was a great opportunity to talk to other travel bloggers, writers and industry professionals over a pint of Guinness as we cheered on the SF Giants in Game 1 of the World Series. And yes, the Giants WON!
Thanks to founders and organizers Christina Tunnah (@tunnsey), Pokin Yeung (@geckogo)
Lauren Nicholl (@wanderloz)!
We’re all looking forward to the next meeting. Join us if you’ll be in the area.

Looking forward to anything in Los Angeles.
Hey Devin – Ian here from TravelTribes.org. There’s no LA Travel Tribe yet, but if you know of some people who are interested in starting up a meetup group then please get in touch with me over twitter.com/aussie_ian. Cheers!
Hi Ian,
I wrote you on twitter. Thanks for the heads up Cathy.

Hello there!! The Owner/CEO of Leisure Lady Travel Agency, located in the Greater Detroit Metropolitan Area and myself are interested in starting a traveltribe in our area. The website “Traveltribes.org” has an error in the register part.. and we have no way of contacting anyone to have it fixed.. or an alternative to registering and starting our tribe here in Detroit, Michigan!
Please contact me at your earliest convenience by email ( kelli@leisureladytravel.com ) or phone 734-695-1476 (EST). I look forward to hearing from you and starting our Travel Tribe journey!!
Warm Regards,
Kelli Bullock
Hi Kelli.
We don’t have any registration on the traveltribes website (it’s hosted by google sites, perhaps you were trying to register for that?). Great to hear you’re interested, will send you an email. Cheers – Ian
Still sad I missed this 🙁 Heard that the next one will be in December – hope I’ll be able to make it then.
Hey Ashley,
Lauren (@WanderLoz) posted on the Travel Tribe’s Facebook page that the date is December 8th – details to follow later. Hope to see you there!
Yay! Noting it on my calendar now.
