Good morning!
The photo was taken this morning from the San Carlos Hills (between San Francisco and San Jose) on the peninsula that separates San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The sun is rising behind the East Bay hills on the far south end of the bay. San Jose would be to the far right in the photo.
Notice the birds top left.
A sunrise full of promise for a great day.

i just visited san francisco just for a short period of time but loved it!
